What is ROC?
What is your ROC (pronounced rok)? Definition of ROC - that which makes you strong and that what gives you hope. My ROC is my higher power, my family, my friends, and the members of this nonprofit organization. ROC is an acronym for "Raising Our Children." We are dedicated to improving the lives of children. We strongly believe that it takes a village to raise a child and we want to be the village for children that need additional support because of the complexity of today's modern world.
ROC was founded in May of 2005. The vision for ROC is to open outreach centers that will provide: parenting classes, mentoring, tutoring, counseling, and arts such as music, dance, drama, and drawing/painting.
